Some years back, I was praying with a friend, and she began to sense that I had been given the gift of painting...
That is, to paint pictures that bring hope, encouragement and peace to others.
For me, this was totally far-fetched since I had no previous experience in art, and virtually no interest in pursuing it.
As a result, I took no action.
But, because of my friend's persistence, I reluctantly went to an art store.
I was completely clueless, as I purchased the canvas, brushes and paint. To my surprise, I painted my first painting that evening.
I painted a dancer, and the painting is currently hanging in my bedroom. Now, I absolutely love painting!
It is extremely relaxing, peaceful and restorative. I cannot imagine my life without this wonderful outlet.
